I am a parent of two children. My children joined RV in 2018, younger one in 2nd grade and the elder one in 6th grade. I did all my analysis before coming from pudukkottai to chennai, regarding the schools in sholinganallur, I chose few schools among one is RV due to its closest proximity to my husband’s office too. In and Around Sholinganallur RV is the oldest CBSE school with recognition, even now. The main reason I chose this school is, the reason behind the start of this school is Tsunami. Please check other information in their website. Secondly, the Correspondent Mrs. Lalitha Chandrasekaran. before starting this school she was working in DAV Gopalapuram as a prinicipal. Hence I liked the culture of Ramana School and its teachers. Thirdly, She is down to earth. You can’t meet the correspondent of schools in Chennai, even you request, but when I visited the school premises for my sons entrance exam, we have been taken to the correspondent room immediately and there were two ladies sitting in correspondents place, this is a rare seen where most of us dont like to sit equal with our staffs when we are the key person. As I have already seen her photo in the website, I was aware who is the correspondent. The other woman was prinicipal. I admired the way she (correspondent) corrected my sons mistakes in his entrance paper. Finally I selected RV as they were the one who was not fond of getting admissions and ready to accept and portray my son how he is. (This was not the case with the other schools where both my children got selected and was holding confirmed seats of two schools, where they praised, appreciated, celebrated by son and daughter for performing best in entrance. But to praise them high, they didnt do much, other than just completing the entrance well. Moreover the question paper was too silly which helped them to score more. So there is no point is appreciating that much. More over we were not allowed to meet the correspondent too, and their main aim was to get two of my children gets admitted in their school.) I suggest RV to parents who search for a culturally decent and ethichally effective CBSE school in sholinganallur.

JS global school is one of the best Igcse board school. Teachers are friendly and the atmosphere of school is really good and with positive vibes. The best school that allows children to study in their own potential and pace. Teachers and supports staffs and akkas – all are so supportive and empathetic which is missing in many schools nowadays. This school practices inclusion and keeps up to it. All children will be encouraged and made to be part of the sports day, school day events – as per their potential, no one is missed out. That’s what i like the most about this school. There is one issue we have in this school – huge traffic during morning and evening hours – even after suggesting multiple remedies. They need to find a way out.

My children moved to APL only this year and I am very happy to say that they have felt at home from day 1. The approachable teachers, the teaching methodology, the flexibility and the lack of pressure on the child have really endeared them to academics and they seem to enjoy going to school. The school has always been very prompt in responding to any concern that has been raised and has helped sort out the issue in the best possible manner. I would also like to make a special mention of the efforts taken to provide as detailed a report card as possible at the end of term and of the way things are handled in case the child has taken ill.

It’s the school I’m studying tight now and it’s really God with two very big football fields and a big badminto court and so many labs every corridor many classes and a cricket court and a basketball court and finally throw ball. There are dance rooms music rooms exam rooms an auditorium etc. I would recommend this school!

Environment: Amethyst international school is best for academic and fee wise other than schools e.g vels. My kid is completed UKG in Amethyst and it was good environment and he improved his personal skills and done lot of activities over there. We have an active child and a regular CBSE school was not suiting him. So when we decided to change the school, HLC was an obvious choice. We liked the school for its way of teaching and catering to each child’s individual needs. Unfortunately our son did not get admission as there were no drop outs in that year. However we got to know about their Elina program for outsiders. The Elina program helped us to identify the right kind of help for him. I just transferred to a new school for the 11th grade, but I was a part of HLC for 6 years (from 5th to 10th grade). My experience as a student at HLC was nothing but extraordinary. When I would walk in every morning, I never felt like I was walking into a school, but a second home. The school didn’t just teach me academics and sports; it helped me significantly grow as a person. All of the school’s numerous initiatives I have been able to be a part of were truly eye opening. They shine lights on societal and environmental issues, and give students opportunities to find ways to solve them in unique, fun and interactive ways. I probably wouldn’t have gotten as many opportunities as I did at HLC anywhere else. It also gave me a platform to express myself and be true to who I am. Also to mention, the teachers are the kindest, and most fun-loving! I will definitely miss the school. No matter where I go, I will be forever thankful to HLC for leaving me with joyous memories, experiences and knowledge.

The school looks Amazing.. very modern look still they have traditional aspects.. very spacious.. very big school with big football ground and two basketball grounds.. located in a calm area.. school looks good interms of infrastructure.. am an outsider and none of known person studies here. So I did not review about teaching, fees and related aspects. But I can say this school imparts very good values among young minds.. for example nature based ventilation system, garbage collection system, importance on games, etc.. With my kid studying here for a while now, it’s the fastest growing school in the locality with very good focussed academic and management teams rigorously working to improve and develop further the school in this locality with as much facilities possible ,like other older and new schools here in this area. They have registered international and cbse curriculums and the feedback for both streams are good with attentive well qualified teachers also as other parent’s say . Even the facilities are good with new building built with a great design and all kids enjoy it. Also now they brought in private NEET and IIT coaching classes. In summary, keep it up and grow. Few Cons, is more focus to cultural and sports activities ( with a big expanded playground for both schools ) be given along with academia and fees at slightly higher end for this locality so to be adjusted or maintained inline with other schools in this area.

Good school in this locality. I’ve went in March 2023 to enquire about Pre KG admission. The vice principal explained us the process and sent a staff with us to tour the school and facilities. They asked to bring the child on a Saturday for screening and it was very friendly .My 2.5 years old kid was moving with them without any resistance and they were with him for 30 minutes for screening. We could see the teacher and staff was moving well with my kid and he was not showing any resistance. We likes this screening and admission process and got our son enrolled here for Pre KG. He is going fir last 4 months and we see lots of improvement in him. They conduct open hall meetings, monthly one color themed activity and a Grand parents day celebration. Kid is liking all of these activities. Kudos to the school management!!!

My daughter has been studying in Trileaves since start of this academic year. As she enjoys going school everyday, I am really happy to see her skills improved a lot over the period of time. Especially her communication, pronunciation and knowledge on numbers have improved a lot as I noticed. I am completely satisfied with the activity based teaching and learning that they are following here. At the same time, students are not overloaded with homeworks and other commitments. Kindergarten faculties are very kind with the students, as I can hear my daughter mentioning her tutor name every then and there. Each school has its own positives and negatives, until the school provides quality education in a home like environment, remaining all doesn’t matter. In my perspective Trileaves satisfies this criteria without a second thought.

If you are relocating from foreign country and looking for a school matching to your expectation, I would recommend GGN. As a parent, we expect that teachers should be approachable, friendly, Very pleasant environment, good amenities like food, neat, Air Conditioner, etc., GGN will be matching your expectations. We can also meet Chairman directly who really works very closely with all students and monitors their performance and support to work on the students area of improvement. In my opinion, they need to also put similar effort on sports which can be rated 3 out of 5 at present. Overall our experience was good. Both of our sons studied there. My first son is Grade 10th passed out and first batch of the school’s IGCSE Curriculum.

First of all I have to thank the chairman sir very polite very honest simple person who can be contacted at any time…. there is an elegance in what he does. Children like him very much.For any problem you can contact him very easily. The problem will be resolved by the end of the day. There are many reasons why this school is the best…….. Let’s start with prayer song. Students get a very positive feeling while singing the prayer song and it is also sung in Tamil. This is a great activity. My son’s academic performance at Sri krish international school is excellent..,thanks to the school’s highly qualified and dedicated facility and staff . They provided a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum… That challenged and motivated him to achieve his full potential. Additionally, the school’s nurturing environment contributed to his over all growth and development…. The school offered a diverse range of extra curricular activities like silambam, karate, music , dance , yoga, including sports which allowed to showcase students talents…… Here I want to say about some coordinators really parent friendly……. My son is currently in grade 2 and we had a fantastic experience with the school in the previous academic year. All the teachers are very supportive, caring and make sure each and every kid is attended to. As parents, we could see a lot of difference in our child before and after he joined Athena. His language skills improved tremendously and he became very confident. Special mention to Krithiga mam( class teacher) who spent lot of time with us to understand our child and gave him the space and opportunity he needed and moulded him very nicely and secondly Poorna mam(maths teacher) who took tremendous effort in making sure kids understand all the concepts before moving to the next topic. It was very much evident from the way he loved to do maths homework on his own. I would also like to thank Swetha mam, hindi mam, ICT mam for making the subjects very easy and interesting for him and also PE sir for his sports classes. Apart from academics, yoga and physical education is also given lot of importance. The annual day function was fabulous. All the kids were awarded based on their talent which usually does not happen in other schools. And the kids performances were superb that shows how much effort the teachers had put in to make it a grand success. This is definitely one of the best IGCSE schools out there .We are extremely happy to have chosen this school for our son and he simply loves and enjoys going to school.

Our personal experience with Athena global school so far has been fantastic with lots of positive vibrations seen in my child. The best thing about the school is their lovely teachers who has the ability to create a close bond with the kids and bring the best out of them. My son keeps jumping when he thinks about the school and that’s purely the success of the teachers contribution. A very special thanks to beloved maths teacher Poorna mam for her wonderful teaching skills and perseverance in adopting new techniques to bring the best out of the kids. Also a word of praise for Tamil mam (Sujatha) who is liked by all for her simplicity and availability in addressing issues or providing an extra hand for learning out of the box. Thanks ma for all your hard work. Special thanks to Krithika mam for getting our child’s basics in English strong. In fact we are very happy with all the teachers and the school management.

This is the best school i had ever found while am looking for my kid, i just went for enquiry and the way Krithika Mam explained and shown me each and every classroom and detail explanation made me to opt this school and the way they support is great and no bad side for this school, and their support and online classes are well planned and even in cases of delay or postpone requested it’s full filled with extra care by class teacher Swetha Mam,Poorna Mam and Uthara Mam for my kid, and other teachers also supported great even sacrifing their lunch periods and the effort they kept is very great feeling for every parent, and recently due to health issues my kid didnot attend school last six months, here comes the biggest difference not like any other school, they had taken extra care for kid investing their lunch time and waiting for one hour or more even after school time ,teachers had given mind blowing support even after school giving their personal time for the child’s bright future, so I strongly recommend this school and can join with out any hesitation, if you talk to the principal Josephine Mam you will definitely know about the school. And most importantly the school ambience and the atmosphere is very well maintained that it will give joy for the children to come school and play and enjoy the school, one thing I want to say is that every teacher takes care of the students equally to the parents. A place that is safe for kids both physically and psychologically. Every kid is given at most attention and the teachers focus on the individual kids development needs. Continuously motivates and encourages them. All the high decibel events have been well organised and the kids were very well recognised for their talents. The weekly updates to the parents kept us intact with the happenings at school. We were well informed about all the activities the children do and it gives us more confidence in their development. Communication is one key differiciator and bigs kudos to the entire team. The school is open and transperant enough which makes us feel comfortable to discuss about the child’s progress. As a parent I had great experience and my son Jeshwanth really learnt a lot with lot of fun. I think they groom the child socially responsible by involving them in social events like road safety, nursery visits, support the needy people, that’s truly inspiring. Even when he had to take a break for 3weeks during his fracture, there were sessions organised virtually exclusively for him, so he doesn’t miss his classes. Thank his class teacher Ms.Ezhilarasi and his principal Ms.Josephine for all the support extended and my sincere appreciation to all the staffs who were supporting my son’s 1st year school journey to be seamless and interesting. I am one of the students from first batch to complete schooling from Olive. I joined olive in 4th grade previously i was studying in velammal matriculation school . I believe this is one of the best thing that ever happened to me . Junaid sir never compromised in the quality of education .Islamic education and Hifz provided in school are definitely the best compared to any other Islamic schools in Chennai.Olive has not just provided many Huffaz and students with strong Islamic knowledge.It has also provided the best Academies . Alhamdulillah I am having successful career today, the best education and teachings that i got till today is from olive undoubtedly . Inshallah i am planning to get an admission for my son when he turns 4. May Allah grant Junaid sir and Mrs.Junaid with endless Sadaqath-ul-jaariya. I can see a lot of reviews saying the school does not have a ground for sports .If you are really interested in sports you can opt for a sports program from a private sports institute. I studied in velammal, arugably the school with best sports facilities but we were allowed to play only a couple of hours a week . I was interested in sports i was part of football club during my olive days i was practising martial arts during my olive days . And the best memories i have is playing cricket in olive terrace.

All praise is to Allah Well I’ll be honest.. You go to Olive for its teaching and the effort and care the teachers and ustads have for the students.. You don’t come here for the infrastructure. Even though this school doesn’t have ground and stuff, I think it doesn’t really matter because I was still able to have fun with my friends. The environment is really good, english speaking environment. I have seen tremendous changes and improvement in my friends English and if you want to improve your language, this school is best.. Not to forget, the Islamic Studies and hifz is just next level compared to other schools in Chennai. I really miss Olive, if there was 11th and 12th, I would have not left. Friends you make in Olive are not just any normal friends, we are brothers and I believe so that our bonds can not be broken.

One of the finest schools in Chennai. It has CBSE, IB,,IGSCE and NIOS curriculam. Has good mix of extra curricular and academic support. Encourages students to participate in activities and competitions at inter achool level. Well eeucated and qualified teachers. Well managed administration. Good sports facilities. Nice music teachers. Huge library. The campus sprawls across acres. The fleet of busses and vans to transport students is good. Canteen serves hygienic food. They can focus on less masala laden food. But kids wont eat at all.

Studied here for 14 years from 2009-2023. One of the best schools in chennai. The school not only focusses on studies but also overall Excellence. A lot of opportunities like MUNs, WSC, Interschool competition (almost all in chennai), kalanjali, annual days and sports days etc etc that’s all I can think about now. Sports coaching is also really good. Students are welcoming and I have found some really good friends for a lifetime. Many students just don’t care or judge you for who you are but you must also make sure to not fall into the trap of “wanna be cool” people otherwise we can see one of the best peer group learning here. The infrastructure exceptionally well maintained with different courts and grounds for different sport activities. Extra curriculars are also given importance and this is why I highly recommend this school. The drawback is not having an Auditorium that doesn’t seem very important to be honest and no tours in senior block for the past 4 years,idk if that will change. The Library’s collection are unique and air conditioned. Coming to the food, though the school lunch is rupees 100 per day I would definitely recommend the rasam rice and paneer. Canteen food is tasty too and dosaa’s are to die for. 11th grade students contest in elections and are given responsibilities, similarly a lot of events happen in 11th grade Nd it would be the best if you want to join in grade 11 . There are 7 streams available for ssce and a variety of 6th subjects that are not available anywhere else. Eg: My six subject was graphics which comes under fine arts, the syllabus and printing is extremely interesting that too with the guidance of Mr.Radhakrishanan who is renowned in the field of graphics. Apart from these the school is strictly opposes bringing phones in the school campus even during farewell unlike other schools. Overall facilities like lab, classroom are exceptionally good. If you want to have a memorable school life apart from just studies(which is also taken care of)this is the school you should join. Finally the teachers, some of the best teachers in chennai especially for biology, there are some teaches who don’t come under these categories but that’s very minimal and extremely rare otherwise all teachers are friendly and they try to help you especially in 12th grade for which i am extremely grateful. -Proud student from the batch of 23′

My Son is with Horizon for the past 7 years. I have enrolled him in Grade 2 i could see a drastic change in the way he learns in the first term itself. The teachers make sure each and every one understands the concepts to a grass root level. The curriculum is so good that from lower grade to higher grade the complexity of the same concepts increases so kids can relate it easily I planned to switch him after 5th grade to other curriculum but during Covid i happened to observe their online classes then I decided not to switch. They make sure kids understands the basic concepts before teaching the concepts in the book. The school focuses on sports as well. There is regurlar sports time and they encourage other extra curricular activities. He is enjoying his schooldays to the fullest. The schools doesn’t bring him stress or boredom, but rather brings happiness. The Fiesta24 is well organized programme the safety of the kids were given highest priority. The efficent planning of the staff and teachers were showcased in the event execution. I am really fortunate that i have enrolled him with Horizon. My experience with Horizon is very good.I have referred the school to my friends they are also happy that they enrolled their kids with Horizon.

My children are studying in Horizon from kindergarten. It’s their second home. They enjoy going to School everyday because of the friendly environment, facilities, and teaching methods provided by the schools. “Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success” – Shiv Khera Excellent event !!!!! I presume around 400 students would have participated in dance event. Thanks to the management team to ensure no students are left out and such a difficult task but made on ease. Admired the way kids narrated the event, which I have not seen in any school. This event will give lot of confidence in the kids. Happy to see kids won awards across World / Asia / India level in academics. My child enrolled in Horizon International Academy the previous year. My son is now in PP2. My youngster had trouble distinguishing between the sounds of the letters before starting school. He can now read a picture book. This process had been set very subtly. It was very magical. Instructors are highly personable and kind. My kid adores his class auntie dearly. My daughter has been studying for the past 2 years and I can for sure say that I have made a right decision. It was a curriculum change for her and I was skeptical about her picking it up. However, to my complete surprise, not only she did adapt to the new school, curriculum and culture, she also started acing it pretty soon.
