We admitted our daughter into pre school at Billabong School Thane after checking out other schools in the vicinity. We chose to get our daughter admitted into the school even though it was further away from our home than the other schools. We did not regret it one bit and I will tell you why. The moment we stepped into the school, from the way the staff greeted us to the way the teachers interacted with us, we felt a warmth we hadn’t experienced in other schools. The school has been most accommodating during the pandemic, successfully conducting some very engaging online classes, so much so that when it was time for offline, my Daughter was literally throwing a tantrum to go to school. From my interactions with the management as well, I have seen that for them giving a good experience for Children and Parents is of utmost importance and I, as a parent hold this in high regard. Billabong High Thane might not have some things that some other schools have, but I will tell you, it has a soul. Something you might not find elsewhere.

My first week at ASB showed me that we had made a great choice. ASB quickly became our 2nd home. The sense of community, love and pride in the school is nothing like I’ve ever experienced. The leadership at the school, from the Superintendent, down to the Assistant Teachers, is world class. They have the best trained, most highly qualified staff as any school in the World. As I now prepare to leave Mumbai to return to the US- the main thing that we are all sad about is that fact that we have to leave ASB. The friends we have made have become our family. The life skills and educational tools my children have attained are priceless. And the opportunity to volunteer at the school in the PTA has been an amazing experience for me. The preschool annual day show was just like watching a block buster movie. Beautifully scripted & very well executed. The shows were very well thought of with a lot of meaning. The bollywood mashup song brought generation of great artist on the stage at once. It was super cute to watch the kiddos perform. It was like watching a hit song of the movie. The audience were actually humming along to all the songs. One of the most touching performance was the mobile phone song…. It had such a beautiful strong message. The mother & toddler dance was really wonderful to watch. Being a fauji family the song on defence families struck a chord in our hearts! The school made it a point to include each & every child including playgroup, nursery, jr kg & sr kg. Training these little tots to do the exact steps & conducting it successfully is a humongous feat in itself. Kudos and heartiest congratulations to whole of rainbow family especially heena ma’am, all the teachers & choreographers for such a wonderful event. I would also like to personally thank rainbow for giving our son Nathan such a big stage to speak. Thank you so much for having such great faith on our little one. Honestly his parents were on the edge of their seats during his speech. But his teachers were looking so confident about him. The annual day event of Rainbow International School, Thane is the best example of what an exceptionally brilliant management of an academic institution’s event looks like. The event had a strong message, which needs so much attention and amplification. The performance by the students were brilliantly exhibited and the hard work of the students AND the faculty members was evident. My daughter is a student of this school . Earlier our reason to choose this school was primarily due to close vicinity to our home. In 2014 we went to Singapore and returned after 3 yrs…. Since then my daughter is in this school. I must admit there is a phenomenal improvement in my child. The teachers are dedicated and have a holistic approach in imparting education to the students. My family relocated to Mumbai from Cincinnati, Ohio in January 2011. We were all very cautiously optimistic about the opportunity that our whole family would have to experience a new culture. My first week at ASB showed me that we had made a great choice. ASB quickly became our 2nd home. The sense of community, love and pride in the school is nothing like I’ve ever experienced. The leadership at the school, from the Superintendent, down to the Assistant Teachers, is world class. They have the best trained, most highly qualified staff as any school in the World. As I now prepare to leave Mumbai to return to the US- the main thing that we are all sad about is that fact that we have to leave ASB. The friends we have made have become our family. The life skills and educational tools my children have attained are priceless. And the opportunity to volunteer at the school in the PTA has been an amazing experience for me. The teachers in school are doing a wonderful job when teaching about emotions. Everyday my daughter will express how she felt at a particular situation. When someone shares things, she knows that the person who shared is kind and she will not shy away from saying it to that person. She would feel sad when she does not get a star in school. She will explain us how excited she is for an activity in the school. The teachers are doing a fabulous job of explaining the importance of expressing emotions. NES International School IB board has been a milestone in Mulund West Mumbai for some time now. The students coming out of this school have been quite an inspiration in any ways. I had the chance to attend Science festival here which saw an attendance from various International Schools from all over Mumbai. The staff is very friendly and attentive towards the needs of their student and quite responsive as well. The school extends a warm welcome the moment you enter the premises. I highly recommend parents to have their children study here. Good care is taken not only of the academic year but sports plays an important role here as well. Students look quite engaged with their students and the science festival tool them a level above rest with all the interesting working models made by the students.
