    Seetha Murty | Director – Education

    “Destiny of a country begins in its classrooms”, is the conviction Seetha Murty brings into the learning projects of Silver Oaks International Schools. She joined Silver Oaks Hyderabad as Principal in 2005 and rose to Director of Education. Having worked in Delhi, Mumbai and Shillong, she accompanies different encounters and numerous points of view on the Indian school system and the Boards.

    Curriculum

    The school is affiliated to both CBSE and IB. In IB more focus is laid on the practical application of concepts in the form of regular projects and making connections between the concept and day-to-day examples.

    • IB Primary Years Programme: The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for children aged 3 – 12 nurtures and develops young students as caring, active participants in a lifelong journey of learning. Grade PP1 to 6 forms a part of this.
    • IB Middle Years ProgrammeThe International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) is an educational program for students between the ages of 11 to 16 around the world as part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum. Middle Year Programme is intended to prepare students for the two-year IB Diploma Programme. Grade 7 – 10 comes under IB MYP.
    • IB Diploma Programme: The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (DP) is an assessed programme for students aged 16 to 19. It is respected by leading universities across the globe. Students of grades 11 and 12 appear for IB Diploma Programme.

    Admission Process and Fees

    The fee structure for Silver Oaks International School, Bangalore is as below-

    • Refundable Deposit: This is a one-time fee, refunded at the time of the student leaving the school.
    • PP1 to Grade X – Rs. 25,000
    • DP1 to DP2 – Rs 50,000
    • Tuition Fee: (per Term) Payable for 2 terms in an academic year. Tuition and Transport fees to be paid at the time of admission and in the month of September. A fee Hike of 10% can be expected every year
    • PP I & PP II  –Rs 1,00,000
    • Grade I to X – Rs 1,23,150
    • DP – Rs. 3,00,000
    • Transport Fee: The amount of INR 28,000 is Payable for 2 terms in an academic year.
    • Food Fee: The amount of INR 21,240 is Payable for 2 terms in an academic year. (optional)
    • There is an additional fee for programmes like NIE, ASSET & MINDSPARK which are to be paid separately.

    • Orientation: Orientation is an interactive session between the parents and school, to discover how Silver Oak’s core of Character before Competence will help groom your child into a fine Individual.
    • Induction: Indusctionis an assessment process, for the school to ascertain the entry level ability of the child to enrich their learning journey.
    • Interaction: It takes a great partnership between the school and the parent to nurture the student into their true potential. The interaction session is structured for a candid discussion between the schools and parents upon the expectations and aspirations from each other.
