I will always be grateful to Mahadevi Birla Shishu Vihar for making me who I am today. I spent 11 years here- years filled with joy, love and a lot of learning, from both within and outside class.
I received a lot of love and care from my teachers throughout my school life. They were always extremely encouraging and dedicated to teaching us with the utmost effort. I’m sure there are very few schools where the teachers worked as hard as mine did, even during the lockdown period. The care and concern they have for their students is incomparable. I will be indebted to them forever.
Education is extremely well-structured since we had worksheets till class 5 and exams are conducted only from class 6. They take students on field trips and excursions frequently, which are always a source of joy. It was also a pleasure to take part in the various school plays and functions.

Offline Application forms will be available at the Senior School Building, 4/5, Dr. A. K. Paul Road, Behala, Kolkata 700034 from Monday to Friday between 11.30 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. The duly filled in Application Forms, issued, should be returned on the following day (Excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays) at the same counter.
Parents can fill in the online form, Download, Print and submit the same at the Senior School along with a photocopy of the child’s Birth Certificate.
Those who wish to avail the online system need to pay a fee of Rs. 500/- at the time of submission of the form. In the offline system, forms will be issued on producing the Corporation Birth Certificate / Aadhaar Card of the child . A fee of Rs. 500/- is to be paid at the time of issuance of form (for offline process).

This is a good school in Behala. Both my son and daughter studied in this school from Upper Nursery to Class 12. In this building at Dr. A. K. Pal Road, high school classes (class 5 onwards) are conducted. Teachers are good here and unlike many other schools of same level of academic performance, the fees of this school are affordable to middle class parents. I personally have satisfactory experience.

It is the best school that I ever have known. The best school in Bhawanipore. Has the best teachers and principal. Teachers are both strict and nice. Best thing about this school is that it’s classes, staff rooms are all air-conditioned. They teach you reply nicely. Teachers are like our bff.

It was established by a trust of commercial Gujarati men in 1928. J. J. Ajmera donated a lump sum money for construction of school buildings. Earlier it was known as J. J. Ajmera High school. It’s a co-educational, private and English medium school. The Higher Secondary was founded in 1960. It’s affiliated by ICSE Board. It has a computer training centre. Infrastructure and faculty are good. It’s standard and performance are satisfied. Ex-students are Dilip Doshi, famous spin bowler, Dilip Sanghvi, founder Sun Pharma etc etc.

I have studied in this school for about 12 years. I feel that teachers are best at their respective subjects. My childhood which i lived in this school are the most memorable days of my life i wish that i could live that kind of life again….
When it comes to discipline and administration i think they are the best..
Headmaster sir is very strict.The only thing that should had been better was sports facilities.. A school must have a big ground to play all kinds of sport and also dedicated and professional sports teachers….

I study in this school,nice not that many facilities, they can check Ur bag whenever they want and can give any punishment like sitting on a small tool for a week and stuff like that. Some teachers are offcourse strict but some very good. A little bias but that is the case with every school . Overall a nice school with a good headmaster but strict headmistress , most of the teachers are the best u can find , some very fun but some strict .
